Either way bowling ball head here is getting the sack, no question. His team comes out and has a go at city and like his football, they're getting punted back to London. They sit back like Villa and well we know what happened there. City on home turf have been superb. On chelsea has taken all 3 there this season. It will stay that way too.

Bowling ball will be gone by the time you take your first piss in the morning.

Big time. City are so hard to play against, mainly because alot of their attacks go through the middle, so even if teams sit back and defend they can always find a way to break them down. They don't really seem to get flustered either, even if nothing is really coming off for them and the clock is ticking. Unbelievably patient team, especially at home.

Death threats probably.

Also doesn't want to be accused of 'not trying'.

It's nothing more than a pat on the head for the affables.

I hope THAT song gets sung as often as the Munich one got sung by the Kop.

I hope Gerrard become totally defined by it.

I hope Phil Collins covers it.

Don't know why but Morgan Freemans voice from the Shawshank film came to mind while reading that.

Neutrals choice my arse. Go an have a look on knees up mother brown what hammers fans think of that lot.

on the BBC website:

Premier League: Man City and Liverpool set for title finale
A dramatic Premier League season comes to a conclusion on Sunday, with Manchester City favourites to pip Liverpool and win the title.

Manuel Pellegrini's City side will be champions if they draw or win their home game against West Ham.

Liverpool - in the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster - can clinch their first league title since 1990 by beating Newcastle if City lose.

This is what rodgers has done - it's shameful. there's no difference between the 25th anniversary and the 26th, why should the tragedy be brought up? it has no relevance to this season's title race.

what about the other stuff they have won, like the CL cup.

even Fat Sam saying Gerrard deserves a title, why is everyone saying this?

i went to visit a house today and the guy who was showing me around said this, after saying he was a man united fan and quite like gerrard.

then he saved himself by saying "but after that slip, i just laughed (said the same thing about the palace game as well) and will be happy)

what was the reason Gerrard didn't leave in the end?

.....not sure which thread to post on, but had a chat in the pub about World Cup squad this afternoon. Folk know I've had a couple of quid on Stones to be in at a big price and I really don't think it will happen, but here's how the conversation went;

RS; Stones; No, not enough experience.
Eggs; Fair comment, but if Jones is out then there's nobody who has many caps. I really think this lad is quality.
RS; If Jones doesn't go then it has to be Flanagan.
Eggs; Eh, Flanagan can't fill in at Centre Back.
RS; Yes, but he can play left back.
Eggs; But we are ok at left back, its Centre Back that we need cover.
RS; Then I'd take Kelly before Stones. And I'd take Sterling before Barkley.
Eggs; Sterling is fair enough, but he plays a different position than Barkley.
RS; Erm, but Sterling is flexible.
Eggs - end of conversation.

Everything you need to know in a small conversation.

How did you refrain yourself from punching the idiot? Assuming you did.

Actually I ask myself that question whenever I'm talking to a kopite about football. They're really convinced Carroll, Nolan et will really win them the title by the way.

..I'm not a scrapper and even if I was I'd have tired arms and sore knuckles for every conversation I had with a red. Brian Labone was right when he said 1 Evertonian is worth 20 reds, always remember that and just be comfortable that we are superior. They are all hoping on Carroll tomorrow and I wouldn't put it past happening the way they are. Come on City.
