I understand, but the outcome is personal for many of us, myself included, seeing the likes of rodgers and kopite gimps tagging on to it, often after some heinous comment or other, is infuriating, I'd say this thread is a good a place as any to vent if done appropriotely
I completely agree, if done appropriately as you say. I'm from and live in Liverpool, I know how much it damaged us at the time and he shouldn't be using it for his own ends. No one should be.

But ranting, as some do, is not doing it appropriately, is it?

I know you are mate, I'm not having a pop or anything, and I'd hate to see any evertonian over stepping the mark on that subject, I agree with your sentiments, but thought minimeisters comments were legitimate

Never thought he was all that good.

NEA.

He has below average footballing ability, but a right foot that probably compares with any player in the world. That mistake last Sunday wasn't just a slip, I've always thought he panicks when he receives the ball close to the opposition. I bet you he had a go at Sakho and tried to blame him for passing the ball to him in that situation, even though Ba was at least 5 yards away from him. He needs time and space on the ball.

But as I said, his set-piece and crossing ability consistently rivals anyone I've ever seen.

heh, yeah a mate of mine came out with a blinder a few years back. We were watching England and some no hoper said " where do you reckon Gerrard's best position is then mate?". he fired back, "right in front of Xabi Alonso." Classic.

There's a link in there to an article I read after the 2012 Goodison derby (http://www.theguardian.com/football/2012/oct/29/liverpool-steven-gerrard-everton-physical), totally de-constructs his ridiculous moaning about us. Man's obsessed. I think it must be because he sold his birthright as a blue and his soul is now empty and black, and deep down he knows no amount of trophies are gonna fill that void. Just a theory like.

everyone talks about the slip, but that only happened because he miscontrolled a simple 3 yards pass under no pressure, like a 10 year old. it was a massive mistake, not an unfortunate incident.

remember when Stevie G said we played hoofball like Stoke a few years ago? pretty ironic considering how all they do now is bomb the ball up to Suarez, Sturridge, and Sterling...
