Utter crap this will be, Disney will be more concerned about whoring out the brand and raking the cash in from merchandise.

Get ready for the Star Wars Whopper at Burger King, or how about DHL "using the force " to deliver a poster.

Cocksuckers will ruin this even more than Jar Jar binks.

I disagree mate. Disney know whats at stake here (resurrecting the series after the debacle that was episodes 1,2 and 3). I don't think they will let a sub standard movie be released, I have every confidence it will be good. They most certainly do not want the name Disney to be tied to the death of the Star Wars franchise.

As for burgers etc being named and the merchandise debate - remember the original trilogy? The Str Wars Franchise is half built around merchandising. I have an R2D2 cookie jar ffs. LOL

@dholliday and anyone else who doesn't like the prequels, if they have a LOT of time, might enjoy these if they haven't seen them already, they went viral a couple years ago.

Excessively long reviews done in the character of an old, psychotic man (to break up the monotony of the writer just doing it dry) that breaks down those movies thoroughly. Not only the plot holes, and obvious stuff, but the bigger issues which have been alluded to already - character depth, general theme, etc.

(Have posted once before on another thread somewhere)

Frankly, the 70 minute or so reviews were better and far more entertaining than the actual movies.

I think it won't be as good, if only because of the utterly boss musical scores and themes which did so much in creating ideas and feelings won't be in it.
