Could have sworn he signed back on for a legit release clause in his contract? Can't imagine 70mil is it, too high. Never in their wildest dreams would they have thought he would be playing this well for them.

Can't delete that picture for some reason? Even when I edit?

You may have accidentally clicked on the ' quote message' icon ..... Go back to the original post of that pic and unquote it.... Might work.

There was defo something put into his contract; due to the issues with Arsenal bid last year and nobody knowing exactly what was going on, i'm sure the agent had a specific clause put in. And i think, IRMC, that if Mardid or Barcelona lodge a bid og £Xm then his release clause his triggered and its up to him then

None of us know really though do we, so its all just pi$$ and wind.

I hate how the Liverpool fans feel that they have some sort of riteous connection with the horrors of Hillsborough just cause of the club they support. Sickens me that like, they wear it like a badge of honour.

What happened affected Liverpool the city, not just the club. it had a profound effect on the people who live here, not just the people who support that club. I despise how they try to monopolise it, and then effectively market it. LFC do in all fairness do quite a lot of good for the Hillsborough Campaign, but they treat it like that gives them the right to whore it out.

Disgusting. Absolutely horrible.

Rodgers and his armband. I have no doubt in my mind that it was another for the 96, and had they won, he would of pointed to it and said "for the memory of the 96" howver, they got beat, so nothing was mentioned. How about Brenda, for balance only, coming out and saying "We went out there and tried our hardest, We let them down" or does that not sell enough shirts.

In fact, I'll even go one further and suggest that if Liverpool are playing at home and the title is sewn up, they will hold a minutes silence. Rule 101 of Marketing "Emotional connection is the strongest bond. Get a customer connected emotionally to your brand and they will find it harder to remove themselves"

Its the exact reason you get Fandroids and Apple Geeks

BELLWHIFFS

Sure I read the clause was 70m for a team abroad and 90m for a prem team

Hope he shatters both legs in the World Cup and they get nothing

LOL

No reports of anyone spitting on the Hillsborough memorial. So they've basically used that excuse for getting in a bit of bovver and their fans were not doing it for the 96 after all.

They've checked the CCTV and could find nothing.

Anyone really surprised at that?

Don't know who started the rumour, the fat middle aged dickheads who were kicking off on the day, or some beaut on twitter looking to excuse them kicking off yet again, but whichever, it sums up the psyche of those reds who think that it's OK to play that card whenever it suits, as some form of sick 'get out of jail card'. Absolute whoppers.

I'd say the people lying about saying it happened, should take a long hard look at what type of person they are. Do they not see the hypocrisy about accusing people of doing something like that to that memorial of all things. given what that memorial represents and the ongoing enquiries into the cover up of lies, slander and disrespect shown to the victims. Now some use it as a excuse to act however they want and cover it up with lies citing a lie about something being done to the memorial, that is pretty sickening tbh

If it was really all about solidarity with the bereaved then Rodgers would be wearing a joint Heysel AND Hillsborough armband.
