Created ?? Oh behave mate

Barcelona as a club have had a wonderful blueprint for football for decades, decades !! It was merely tweaked and by doing so, saw them improve even more. To say he created that is foolish and ignorant of those before him.
Yeah, Rinus Michels and Cruyff laid the foundations for what you see today.

Conversation yesterday in the pub with a shirt wearing bell end who has probably never even put a foot in Anfield.

Me - "thrown it wide open today eh" (trying not to smirk and look smug)

Him - "Yes, but City still have to come to you lot next week, wouldn't it be great if Martinez issued a rallying call to say let's do it for our neighbours and the 96 in the 25 year anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster"

Me - "you know what pisses me off about people like you? your unashamed use of the Hillsborough disaster and the actual insincerity in the way you use it as something you think you can crow bar into anything football related at any time that you think suits you. It's an insult to the people who died and their families. Stop wallowing in something that had nothing to do with you personally and using it as a badge of honour for your football club"

Him "erm"

Too much?

Spot on in all honesty.

I see yesterdays fisticuffs have been blamed on "a Chelsea fan spitting on the Hillsborough Memorial".

Bravo kopites!

It probably was the start of it. not defending anything but it strikes me as something a cockney no mark would do for a laugh and obviously proceed to get their head kicked in for it.

I don't understand all the media debate going on about this...... Chelsea were going to the home ground of the team at the top of the league and have been scoring for fun, they had half of their first 11 out injured. Liverpool have a world class strike force ths season..... What kind of bellend manager would go there with half a team and go all out attack ? Rodgers was shown up yesterday, he had no idea how to change the game and just continued playing the same way throughout the 90 mins..... He has no plan B.... It was ace to watch Stevie g laa shooting from 30 yards out over and over again because they had run out of ideas, Chelsea and Jose played this game perfectly.

It's sour grapes cos Chelsea didn't roll over and die for Sky to have another Liverpool love in. They were ready to crown them yesterday.

My knowledge of the Anfield stadium isn't great, is the 96 memorial near the away entrances?

it used to be on anfield road (where those pictures are)

then it got moved when they installed the macdonalds and done up the facia of the kop to include the shankly shroud or his skiddy underpants or whatever they worship now

I think may be some sort of placque or something on the Anny Rd where the original memorial had been, I may be wrong

All coming out of the woodwork as we get nearer and nearer to the end of the season. its astonishing....

I live in Boston, MA now but work in Cambridge, MA and up the road from my work is a pub. I worked an overnight shift on Saturday into Sunday and have to walk past the pub on my way to the train station. At 7.30am, i couldn't believe my eyes when approaching this pub, i saw a huge line of RS trying to get into this pub to watch the game. The pub was so rammed with RS, that people couldn't get in.

In the 3 years ive worked in Cambridge and have not only walked past this pub but have become somewhat of a regular, ive never seen this before. I was in bulk laughing and whipped out my phone to take a few snaps. Its utterly amazing and its even happening here in the states. Allll lapping it up and jumping on the bandwagon. How i wish to of stayed around for a couple more hours and been there to lap up the atmosphere myself.

' Kopites ! KOPITES, over here........ say cheese........ cheesey bellends ' *snap*
