ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I want us to win next week, but should we not succeed I wonder will the tactic now be "blame Everton for throwing the game v City" to deflect blame from themselves losing today?

Tony Pulis needs to be a hero, here.

We're live at Selhurst Park and we can confirm that Tony Pulis has indeed removed both sets of goal posts and nets. Reports are coming in that Pulis has said "this will be as dead a game if I ever saw one".

I hope so! That'd do very nicely.
I want us to win though mate.

Don't care whether it benefits them or not.

Just wondering how long it'll take for them to blame us should we get beat next week. But as I say, I still want us to win.

Can't believe this hasn't hit the papers yet. Its a massive game. And if we do throw it, it'll be etched in kopite history.
I'm not suggesting we throw it, I want to win. I'm just wondering how long it'll be before they throw this about to deflect from today.

Nooooooooooooo!

I mean if a CL place was up for grabs....

But folding like a bad hand to deny them the title when it isn't? Not a serious choice for me. I suppose I'm bitterzzzzzzz.

Sorry, what?

Nothing about that is wrong.

If that Liverpool side does not get a penalty or a major decision their way, they do not win the game.
That's rubbish and you must know it. They've had some dodgy decisions given their way that have changed games but they've also lost games because of them, like the offside on against City in December. They have won plenty of games fairly. They wouldn't be top if they hadn't.

Me too. But with so many out, including Barry remember, cant see it.

So if we win, made up, but if we lose, then quietly amused really.
