No, doesn't look like you're bothered about being wrong mate.
What about if someone repeatedly posts utter tosh and someone uses previous examples of them doing similar as a way of debate and to show them that their opinion is not particularly creditable in the first place?
Is that permitted?
For instance I spent last summer mostly swerving the new manager thread as it was unbearable with people ridiculing most of our candidates because they'd entrenched themselves, weirdly, firmly in favour of one particular candidate. So I think it's not bad in the interests of accountability to revisit these previous threads and see who got it wrong and right.
if you got it right then well in, astute of you that. If you got it wrong then sound, I probably did too. If you got it wrong yet was arrogant towards others who didn't share your opinion then there's a lesson to be learned.
Hence why I'm a bit perturbed at your load of paragraphs and not one bit of remorse. To some it would appear like you don't like being proved wrong on the internet.
Why would someones opinion on, say, toast, matter one jot in regards to their opinion on bagels? Being wrong once doesn't mean you're wrong for life - debate him on the point at hand, not on irrelevant stuff from the past about different subjects.
Look at the thread itself.
"Bobby wants him thats good enough for me"
Absolute nonsense really,
Robles -- Why bother paying for him?
Alcaraz-- Had a bad injury record before signing and turns like a tank.
McCarthy--Fantastic player
McGeady--Flatters to deceive
Kone -- Complete tosh
Yes the loans have been excellent other than Traore of course (who I imagine we will see again next season) but where does this illusion that Martinez is a transfer guru come from as on permanent deals he has made 5 and got one spot on.
Also the talk on Gibson returning so we will have no need for centre mids is totally insane. He has never had a good injury record and as things stand we can only rely on the top class McCarthy next year...need 2or even 3 more there.
I think we all love Roberto but im lost on these transfer comments.

First response:
Robles - Better than Mucha.
Alcaraz - Solid sub defender, on a free, better than Heitinga.
McCarthy - Excellent.
McGeady - Settling in after playing several years in Russia.
Kone - Unfortunate due to injury.
And how can you say Gibson has never had a good record? If memory serves correctly, we didn't lose a league game with him in the team for ages!
14 Likes, universal approval. The thread consisting of people disagreeing on him point by point. The moderate majority in action.
Who
cares if people had opinions about the manager - they were opinions, they're supposed to exist on a discussion forum. You read them, you don't have to take them to heart! It was panic stations about Everton, something loads of people care deeply about -
of course people were going to be saying daft things and get emotive about the subject. I'm wondering if that's what you're missing here - the element of emotion. Mistaking arrogance for strong feeling? People make their points in different ways - some people don't bother with capital letters, some people use words others wouldn't use, some people use phrases like "fake forum police" they regret immediately as it was too OTT - everyone is different.
Again, you can keep saying it, but I'm
not upset about being wrong on the internet. I've been wrong hundreds of times; in fact, more often than I've been right. I've been wrong in my job, I've made wrong decisions in relationships and so on. You learn from them. I am solely talking about vaulting here and the pros and cons - I'm not going off on one and swearing etc. You know why I don't have remorse? Because I'm not sorry about being wrong on the internet!!! I'm sorry if I ranted at someone and acted like a pleb, but not about being wrong, as we can all be wrong.
As above, you can't deny that the majority had already told Zatara in no uncertain terms that his opinion was unpopular at best. It didn't need the two additional thread bumps and taking the mick to make that point. What did vaulting achieve that the thread itself already hadn't?
