Moyes sacked by United

So Man Utd will be better, and if he goes to someone like Newcastle he'll probably improve them. Hilarious that he will be gone after one season, but not particularly good news for us.

This was his downfall.

Had he stuck with Fergie's staff at least for one season he would have been fine.

He'll get a massive payoff though after the 6 year contract so it's difficult to feel too sorry for him.

Apparently he won't.

Clause allowing non pay off in event of not qualifying for Champions League.

Twitter at the moment is pretty funny. United fans hoping it's true, non - United fans hoping it's not.

I don't know of any blue who was confident he would succeed at United. Whether you wished him well or not, we all knew being at Everton should of been the highest accolade he got in his career.

Think it would be very harsh on Moyes. The club is full of average players, demonstrated by their line-up against us yesterday. Buttner, Smalling, Evans and Jones as a back four is appalling. Fair enough Moyes should still be doing better, but they should give him to the summer. I reckon if he was allowed to bring in 4-5 players he wanted this summer, they would be back to challenging at the top-end.

I might be in the minority, but I actually feel sorry for him. I'll never forgive him for the way he spoke about us and behaved during the summer, but as much as he is to blame for United's woeful season by their standards, the players have to take a lot of the blame, it was painfully obvious yesterday not one of them really wanted to be there. And to sack him after he's just been brushed aside by his old club is the ultimate insult to him.

He'll take some time away from football and get a job at a club who needs stabilising, your Villa's, West Brom's etc.

Anyway, he is our history now, I only care about a certain sexy Spaniard now.

It will be confirmed with statement later today. Board meeting this morning.

The irony was Everton put the last nail in the coffin, also RM has compounded his performance as we have got better
