Tim Howard

Exactly. T-How and that lid across the park have been outstanding this season.

Actually, so have a lot of goalkeepers this season, specifically also Speroni of Palace and the Cardiff goalkeeper. Wouldn't mind either of them as backup to T-How.
i would wait till mini t-how is old enough to replace his dad. so by this pic i would imagine howard needs to keep playing till he's 50.

T-Howard has been world class this season. He's been very good in previous seasons barring the odd mistakes/bad form (which he, unlike other GK's doesn't appear to be aloud by some)

So underrated by some of our fans, a lot of miss guided fools would have had Robles between the sticks this season over Howard!

Is gonna be very expensive to replace when the time comes is Howard.

He's been playing at the level I would expect our keeper to perform at apart from the odd mistake this season.

Meh.

Message to Howard:

We'll boo who we like Tim lad. The reasons are quite well established.

He got a standing ovation last May because he was still our manager at that point. He isn't now and has behaved like a tit in lots of ways. You might think he's boss, good for you. We'll think what we like. Be careful what you say about us.

I wonder if any Liverpool players criticised Liverpool fans for booing Torres when he came back to Anfield?
Nah, didn't think so.

He ofc has a soft spot for both United and Moyes, no suprise really, a non story tbh

Never actually says we were wrong either, just says it was unfair which the paper then twists to a more inflammatory headline, the messiah bit was a bit of a eyebrow raiser though, err nah tim never thought that once

And crowd reactions.

And things people post on Twitter.

In fact between Howard and Distin we must have the most thin-skinned players in the Premier League.

He's made nearly 350 appearances for us, he's entitled to his opinion just as much as the people in the stands.

Tim has a right to his own opinion, my bet is that Moyes was also a friend as well as his boss. So obviously it wouldn't be nice from Tim's perspective to see him getting booed.

That said, I can understand the Moyes bashing yesterday. His attitude shortly after leaving Everton was utterly appalling. Hopefully we've had our say now and we can leave it at that.

TH: "“He wouldn't want me feeling sorry for him. I love David Moyes. I think he is a brilliant manager. He was [a brilliant manager] here for us and I will be forever grateful.”

Put yourselves in TH's position. DM brought you here, you played for him for years. His quotes say it all. As Everton fans, we could be above this sort of thing.

FWIW, I don't like booing Rooney either.

An ex Manc, defending the Manc boss, who was given a hard time by Evertonians for conspiring with Mancs, whilst in Everton's employment.
Careful now Tim.
Would expect most of the players feel the same way - but have the sense not to go public.

It could have worked against us and fired them up but.........luckily they're poor. And as I type the internet rumour mill is pointing strongly to a sacking.
