Return of Moyes atmosphere?

Those Moyes tears, just so salty and delicious.

He got away lightly compared to at Old Trafford. Today was more about celebrating Everton's bossness rather than being anti-Moyes. We can afford to be condescending to him now.

This.

I was surprised. I was telling everyone in work months back our atmosphere would be vicious in this game, a real toxic bear pit. In the end, it was just all about celebrating our own success.

There was a quick round of "stuck with Moyes" in the first half and "sacked in the morning" toward the end, but at the end of the day, that was more damning than anything else. We didn't need to create the harsh, brutal atmosphere we did against Arsenal (Arteta got ripped to shreds far more in that game than Moyes or Rooney or Clattenburg) because from start to finish we were confident of a win, we were clearly the better team and we were never really under pressure.

As someone once said, and I standby entirely, Goodison is a violent, brutal atmosphere when it needs to be. When we're up against the best and we need the intimidation factor, we rise (or sink if you're the press) to the occasion and make it unbearable. Yesterday we were playing a team well below us, who we expected to beat comfortably, and we did. We didn't need to create a toxic intimidating atmosphere, we could just enjoy the occasion.

I found it was the Man U fans who were at their most vile. I think that's the angriest and classless I've ever seen them. Probably speaks volumes about their current situation. When you have nothing to celebrate, you descend in to bitterness.

They were a joke, and what was with loads leaving after 70 minutes

Can you blame them with that performance?

Thing is for most of them they have had one bad season in there time following United and cant take it, its not like its a weekly sight, like we have had to witness over the last few decades. I always stay till the end, well apart from Anfield a few months ago, its not like they have far to go home.

Have been a STH in the St End since 1992 and that's the only time I have stood for a whole 90 minutes. Non-stop singing all the way through, and any jibes towards Moyes were nowhere near as bitter as I thought might be the case.
Nearly, very nearly, felt sorry for him. But, on reflection, I don't.
