Not Safe For Work! The 'GIF' Thread

Lads I am not sure the content here is appropriate - I have asked the other mods to consider whether this is the case or not.

Not being a prude but this thread can be viewed by minors

Given that it's a NSFW thread, the content is very appropriate, even if some of the gif's are fully safe for work. Maybe the minor's parents/guardians should have better control of what is viewed?
I disagree. I think lots of minors are interested in Everton and get a lot out of this site. I don't think parents should have to ban their children from coming on here - very sad if they do because that is harming the future development / knowledge of the next generation of blues.

I cannot see how there can be any such thing as a NSFW thread anyway since,

Contributions must not:
b ) Contain any material which is obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;
c ) Promote sexually explicit material;

The existence of this thread is a big two fingers to the rules.

It would be a shame to see this thread go, some members have put some good research into making this a surreal and incredibly funny thread, especially for those that don't go trawling around the net for stuff like this. As for the youth, surely they've got to take responsibility for themselves, as have their parents, and perhaps it should be flagged as inappropriate for them.
It's obviousdly D&D's call, but it would be a loss to the site imo.

I don't think the thread is in danger as long as there's some thought into what content is likely to be accepted and what is most certainly not going to be accepted.

I think the contributors know where the line is and it is in everyone's interests to stay that side of the line.

The thread is a little bit of an anomaly as far as a strict interpretation of the rules is concerned, but is acceptable if the above is followed.

I am happy to change the title to say NSFW or minors - however that does not give posters freedom from the above guidance.

Adding the 'minor' warning would make sense imo, as that seems to be the root of the concerns.
I simply scroll through overtly sexual material when my daughter's around, and it's not like she's bothered, it's simply a 'woman with breasts' shocker... BBC radio 4's afternoon plays and Women's hour (ironically), on the otherhand, do have the ability to upset her unless I use an alternative frequency mid-afternoon. The Director General when interviewed last month wasn't particularly fussed, saying it was to be expected and its programming was scheduled in advance giving people the ability to re-tune...

This forum would sink faster than one too. The people that host it don't want adult content. It's not like you need to come here to get that kind of thing is it? The web is a vast expanse of blue material.
sensorship at every turn isn't really needed either, its not exactly x rated in here, not having a go at anyone, but it all seems a bit much
