What about this team.

Well ive watched Jay Rodriguez and Wayne Rooney, so I know thats not true, have you watched every defender in the Championship?

Can't say I have watched every defender in that league. That's not really relevant though, is it? It would only be relevant if I'd claimed he was the worst defender in the championship.

Look mate, I just don't think he's good enough for us. Do you honestly believe that if Yeovil had a centre half as good/or better than Jags, Distin and/or Stones they'd be rock bottom.

Perhaps I was hasty though, and dismissing him as not good enough for us, as opposed to saying he's not good enough for the prem.

Please forgive me for being obsessed with Everton :P

I personally dont think youve seen enough to make the judgement that hes not good enough.

You are assuming.

I dont know if hes good enough or not, theres only 1 way we can determine that.

Duffy is still young for a center half.

Stones is a freak. Duffy may still make it. By all accounts he's doing very well at Yeovil. And yes, I think a team with one very good center half can still be bottom of the league. Center backs don't tend to score loads of goals, and cannot be held accountable for the rest of their defense being terrible.

Would you think one of the best young center mids would be on a team that got relegated?

I think martinez has seen enough to make a judgement, probably why hes on loan at a piss poor championship club instead of being on the fringes of the first team.

hes got a defender whose muscles get fatigued walking down stairs and he still hasn't been recalled.

The decision to send him out says a lot, considering martinez is not afraid to through a kid into the mix

We have had 2 CBs on the bench the last few weeks, plus Jags close to a return and Hibbert ready and willing, why would he need to recall him?

I've watched him and I don't rate him that highly. He's slow, turns like a train, and is poor with the ball at his feet. His main attribute is his aerial ability.

Like I say, from what I've seen of him, I don't rate him. It's not hard to understand mate. I'd love to be proved wrong. I'm not arsed about the vaults. There's no formula for judging a player. Even Fergie bought some shockers. It's all down to opinion, and my opinion is that from what I've seen, he's not good enough for our level.

I actually think playing with a side like Yeovil is giving him great experience, better than a club where there is top players in front of him or beside him. It's a huge responsibility and will stand to him nicely when he becomes a valuable squad member for next seasons European trips!

I wasnt impressed on what ive seen before myself, im not saying hes Baresi.

Im just saying we shouldnt judge until we know how a full season has "helped" his progress.

I'm not saying recall him, he wouldn't have been sent out in the first place if he would have been any good. If your saying play hibbert in the cases of emergency, at centre back, instead of having duffy in the squad that says everything

Dangerous ground im about to walk on here, BUT, are you saying when Moyes sent out Barkley he wasnt good enough? When SAF sent out Beckham?

o_O

Why?

If he thinks he's one for the future wouldn't he want him to play every week rather than warm our bench? Is Del-boy not ever going to be good enough for Barca?

Sometimes it makes sense to let other teams develop players that aren't ready.

Beckham went on loan for 5 games mate
Moyes would still have barkley out now on loan
duffys been at the club for 6 years, is 22 and played less than 10 games. That says everything.

im not saying hes a bad player, but probably championship level. The fact he constantly gets sent out on loan, says that something isnt right with his development
