IMO (if we sign lukaku and barry perm and that may be a stretch), I'd want at least another 4 players. A centre back, another defensive midfielder, a good creative number 10 and another striker.

I'd take a striker on loan (if we had lukaku and kone)
Look for another barry type purchase, I.e. a quality older head who is surplus to requirements at another European club. The other 2 is where I'd want the remainder of the budget to be spent

I'd want us to go for quality over quantity. We should spend all of our money on an attacking mid and a striker. The rest should be freebies and loans IMO.

caulker should be the centre back, but not this summer! unless we got CL and had a massive transfer kitty.

him and stones would be a great partnership for us and england for many years to come.

will just be a tad hard with the fee cardiff paid. then again, cornelious.

Thats what I've said, lukaku and a creative number 10 would be the bulk of the money, then fill the other places.

Claims in this that he as a release clause of less than £5m! We should be more than interested IF that's the case, young talent like him going for less than £5m!

He'd be a cracking signing. But with Lyon's financial woes, there asking a lot of money for there players atm. I read they want either 20m Euros or £20m for him, which either way is a lot!

Hmmm he's not bad but at CL level he didn't always look great to me, would get tested a lot in the prem but you never know, could be someone that takes to it like duck to water.

I still think Bruno Martins-Indi or Hector Moreno would be better choices to replace Distin in time.

Starting to get serious question marks over BMI. He got totally raped last month playing for Holland against France.

I just think he's a talent and as a lot of Distin's attributes, speed, strength, he's left sided.
