cra·ven
adjective
1.
cowardly; contemptibly timid; pusillanimous.

noun
2.
a coward.

verb (used with object)
3.
to make cowardly.

Idioms
4.
cry craven, to yield; capitulate; give up.

Seems an odd word to name a cottage (and your home ground!) after lol

I think Emerson Boyce scored a late own goal and cost them a win against Spurs as well....

They actually had a long injury list especially to their defense and then everything that could go wrong started to in games, plus they kinda saved up a few tremendous efforts for cup games, probably cost them in the league in the end

Having seen fulham play this season it makes perfect sense

Koscielny, Ramsey, Ozil, Walcott and Chamberlain would all likely start for us mate
Wiltshere would be in the mix as well
But here is where we see Arsenals problems as 5 of those 6 players are out for at least 3 weeks or more, its a massive loss for them and makes them pretty pedestrian with those all out

I forgot about Ramsay.

I would have him as well.

But you aren't disagreeing with me that you would have more of our starting XI over teirs.

Hard to break down, i'd say about 50/50 without going through each position like, makes it harder the fact some Arsenal players a bit like our Kev in the fact their very in and out (Ozil more than any)

Howard
Coleman - Koscielny - Jags - Baines
Ramsey-McCarthy-Barry
Walcott-Lukaku-Ozil

went for a weird 4-3-3 formation lol, Cazorla or chamberlain and flamini could all make a case for inclusion though too as could Ross

Without trying to sound like a bad, bad whopper.

'Bobby's Everton, no bottling'

Game 1: Liverpool 4-0 Everton
Game 2: Spurs 1-0 Everton
Game 3: Chelsea 1-0 Everton
Game 4: Arsenal 4-1 Everton

So yeah, there is bottling. So i'm not going to get carried away just yet, we just need to keep going, and picking up steely wins, it's not har to remember that we struggled really against West Ham, Cardiff and Swansea, so milking it, and getting giddy over one, albeit impressive, win against Newcastle, really isn't how im going about it.

Ask me in 9 days time at 4pm, and if we're in 4th, i'll be giddy, but all it takes is one loss and one arsenal win, and we're frigged again.

It is Everton after all!

Theres bottling and then theres not picking up points when deserved. The chelsea game we dominated and were killed by a late free kick winner, the Spurs game it was their only shot on goal or something ridiculous, the other two I can agree with to an extent, although the derby there was mitigating factors like having 11 players injured or half fit. But we havent bottled the key games under Martinez yet as we did under Moyes, we for example didnt bottle the away games at the emirates and OT

I think we will finish 4th. Arsenal look completely broken and are crashing and burning. They were lucky to draw vs Swansea. City will beat them and we will beat them aswell.

I know, but having had to put up with the pessimistic way of Everton for 22 years now, i feel the necessary need to be negative... in previous experiences where i've been far too excited watching Everton include

Fiorentina, Chelsea FA Cup, Villarreal, Arsenal FA Cup, Wigan FA Cup, Reading FA Cup and well, you catch my drift, it ends in disappointment. So being negative usually means we win.

City putting 2 or 3 past arsenal would be great! For once I want the rs to win, spurs last tough game and they need a confidence denter! (Rs will lose other games so not assed!)

We will drop points yet no doubts with a few toughies still to come.

It's gonna be close and we'v certainly got a chance. With 8 or so games left didn't expect us to be in with a shout back in the summer.
