Milner's decent, but unfortunately is in the category of English players that are good at football and so cost 20 million for no reason.

Just been watching Sevilla v Betis and had completely forgotten about Marko Marin. Might be a good loan option if nothing else.

If you could take 3 players from the PL to turn Everton into contenders, who would you take?I'd probably looking for bargain bucket versions of these.

David Luis
Yaya Toure
Aguero

So a mobile Centre Back who can step out with the ball
A dominating midfielder
A clever forward who can score but also doesn't give the ball away very often

I think realistically we need to sin this summer the following;

A new winger (to replace deufleu)
2 New strikers, one first team, one for the future.
2 central midfielders, or 1 with Gibson and a youth team man promoted.
Cover for Barkley
New centre half to replace Distin/Alcaraz.

And a replacement for whoever we sell in the summer.

Now on the basis of the above i would want us to sign;

Loan winger from anywhere, always some of them available.

Striker wise i will champion Danny Ings but away from him Batshuayi seems a good bet. Or worst case scenario there is a decent croatian at hull or a good hold up striker at west brom.

Centrally no idea, whoever suits out style. I would say Rodwell, but then get lynched by everyone.

Cover for Barkley, Holtby/Marin/McCarther to name 3 but someone who is better than osman.

Centre half, well is Bruno Indi is the new Distin for us then i'd be happy to sign him.

Replace who we sell this summer- Davies/Shaw. Or Chambers/decent right back. OR hazard for mirallas. Or Modric for Barkely.

Vidic (of a couple of years ago)
Yaya Toure
Rooney

Champions!!

What I'd like to see in the main is players who can adapt their games to the situation.

If you look at the spine of our team we have some fine players with great attributes, but I don’t see players who can take games by the neck when things aren't going to plan. Not saying get rid of those players as it's good to have players who do consistent jobs, just that we need more mobility.

2nd half of the season, when you're playing teams for the 2nd time they'll telegraph your style and adapt. When the spine of the team is made up of players who can only play one way, it's easier to neutralise.
