Milner is a grafter without much quality. Runs alot and keeps things simple. A bread and butter player that many teams seem to have (Ray Parlour was the very man at Arsenal...surrounded by Vieira, Pires, Henry, Bergkamp) to compliment the gifted players ie.do the donkey work. Henderson at the RS springs to mind.

Dont know if anyone else remembers it but last night he tried a bit of skill on the wing and fell over.

Milner is our lawnmower for next season. Robust, incredible work ethic, phenomenal knack of running in straight lines, light on maintenance.

Carles Gil being linked heavily, 6m buyout. Essentially Deulofeu for the man on a budget, he's very raw and lacks a finishing product. Very talented with the ball at his feet though.
He's called us interesting. We defo seem interested.

I can't copy and paste but someone Google ''bleacher report everton carles gil'' and post the link please.

Negatives

Gil has no end product; he is raw, unpolished and Everton cannot make a statistical argument to justify spending £6 million on a player who has scored one goal and registered one assist in 24 La Liga games. When Gil does get in front of the goal, he has a tendency to fluff his lines, hence why he has failed to convert 94.4 percent of goalscoring chances, per Squawka.
