Flags are banned and there are few places you can hang banners from, particularly as you can't cover advertising with them.

Just I thought the word "apalling" was a bit strong

Having that many people paying to get into a stadium to watch a match is a good turn out and I thought was a credit to the support, regardless of how much noise they did or didn't make

Yes! If we get this going then everyone will just be singing allez allez allez au. I know near all our fans like it but it does look like we only have one song. Now and then you hear 'here we go'.

just hold the banners mate. Leave the front row free and the people in the second can hold it up.

This will never happen IMO. Like @Everton Bulgaria said, you need young people to do this which I'm up for but the majority of twitter complain that our atmosphere is awful but then laugh at Palace.

I'd be interested in getting something going, I know countless people who are desperate for the Goodison atmosphere to improve, even the players are, it's just tough for the club to agree to it. There needs to be a real campaign to get it going. People singing before the game in the Gwladys will help a lot, it does on every away. Then the word needs to get thrown around on twitter, it's the quickest way to spread a message. When I made the standing account, I got 300 followers in a few weeks and people who genuinely wanted to get something going, if you get around 1000 then the club may have to make a choice. I don't get why young or elderly people go in the Gwladys, it's like a yo yo all second half so for someone wanting to sit down, the other stands should be far more appealing. Anyone got Alan Myer's email address?

He should just ignore those people and move on. Don't try to change their minds ... don't engage. Their opinion is irrelevant. If we think it needs improving we need to improve it ... we won't do that by wasting time arguing with people who don't want to change.

No one can mate. This is the world of internet. There are millions of people across the world ready to argue and abuse people for the sake of it. Bit naive if Alan Myers is expecting anything other than this in my opinion..

Yeah! The lad who tweeted "no" is a beaut anyway. I've had a few replies saying good luck. If I get 1000 then its serious IMO. I was just tweeting him as he had 3k followers.
