Computer games.

BF4s problem is that they sacrificed the time and effort that usually goes into each battlefield for the sake of churning games out quicker.

Mainly down to EA this I reckon. DICE usually work really hard to make their games what they have been, they just got pushed to compete with the new CoD.

Hahaha.

Not a fan then?

It's not that really... I can identify that it's a good FPS, but it's exactly the same as approximately 264 other FPS's that have been released in the last decade with little to no innovation.

It was Doom, Quake, Goldeneye, the early Call of Duty/Battlefields, Team Fortress... and then absolutely no innovation since for about six years, churning out one after the other to satisfy ADHD-riddled children and hopeless addicts awaiting their yearly fix. Yawn.

Borderlands 2 is the only thing to come close to something "new" in the genre of late.

I see what you mean but that's how it is sadly. I enjoy Battlefield I'm not gonna lie. I enjoy playing and infantry, flying jets/helicopters, driving tanks, blowing stuff up. It all comes down to money really. Companies don't want to take a risk and mess things up and lose sales. They'd rather just churn out similar stuff with the odd tweak and make people want more.

Battlefield nearly nailed it with this game I reckon, they were just pushed too much by the men in suits above them. The game had all the right ideas (map design was a bit poor though) but they included the whole new customisation options for everything in the game, the levolution and a lot of other small details. This was obviously overshadowed by the frankly poor mistakes that shouldn't be accepted in massive triple A titles but it's how it is now sadly.

Did anyone else play Vanquish, last generation?
Great game. Short and brutally sweet. Pick it up if you can.

Bit late in the day, but Respawn are now accepting registrations for Titanfall Beta access. The Betas are on PC & Xbox One only.

Also, anyone else here a Fallout fan? Been getting back into New Vegas lately, such an awesome game. Wondering when Fallout 4 will officially be announced, though it probably won't be released until 2015 at the earliest.

So the game at trailer for PS4 exclusive "The Order 1886" has leaked ahead of the official trailer release at 2pm today.

This is one of the games I've been waiting for more info in since the PS4 launch conference last year.
It look visually stunning, however I hope there's more to the gameplay than just another cover shooter.
