Everton to play in New Zealand (Preseason)

Haven't heard anything. If NZ friendlies kicked off at 8pm NZ time, that would be 7am UK time, NZ being 11 hours ahead.

That's slightly better than the 2:30am UK kick offs we had last summer vs Juventus & others, occuring on the West Coast of the U.S.!

I was listening to the radio when the CEO of the Phoenix (I think it was him, someone important at the club anyway) said that the club was looking at bringing a PL side over. Whether its Everton or it actually happens or not is another story.
I heard that if it is happening that it'll be announced in April, thats when the club releases a list of preseason friendlies or something.

I think you're right i remember him saying somewhere he lived in walton, i took that as the walton in the waikato, silly me.

Hearing rumours on the grapevine that Everton may be making a trip down to New Zealand to play some friendlies vs the Wellington Phoenix during the off season. Today Wellington released this statement here.

I would be over the moon if Everton came down under as would Elong, Pats Van, Dylan and the other resident Kiwi GOT population.

Haha lad all came from me being a bit naive. You would love it though its a fantastic place to visit. I will be made up if the boys do come down though.
