what players do you think need selling/buying in the summer?

Player Valuation: £950k
While I'm happy with most of the current squad I do think we have a few players that are just wasting wages. While there is players I think are not bad players they are just getting wasted. Like vellios we have had him on the bench a few times now and just never play him, even recently whilst we have had no strikers, yes you can argue mirralas and more so naismith are strikers I wouldn't put them in that class. Then there's naismith, while he can score goals I just don't think he is good enough for us (beckford scored 10 in his debut season but people wanted rid nais ain't even halfway there yet) should sell him to a lower team/division. Gibson while he made us tick and we had a good run with him is just to injured to play a full season, and we have Barry now also. Gueye I always thought he would come good but he just can't get the game time with out current squad.

With Browning and Stones coming through this has to be Hibbert's last season. As much as I like Osman, depending on how long is left on his contract it should not be renewed this summer albeit I'd like him to remain on the coaching side if he doesn't venture elsewhere. Gueye and Vellios need to go. Naismith and Gibson provide good cover and should stay IMO.

We will always have players which are squad players and not regular first 11 players. vellios, gueye, naismith, osman are exactly this. Most of our squad players are doing a great job when called upon. Im sure 2 or 3 will leave in the summer and will be replaced. I'd like lallana, kiessling and some unheard south american skill sex machine.

roberto! show me your war face!!

Out: Vellios, Hibbert, Gueye. Maybe: Alcaraz and Osman too.

In: Lukaku (I'd spend up to 20m MAX to bring him in, he's only young and is a natural goalscorer, something we massively lack), Deulofeu (do all we can for him too, but less likely I reckon) and Gareth Barry. Externally I think we desperately need a striker for cover, can't rely on one top class striker when we're competing for CL! Also a starting attacking midfielder and a defensive midfielder mainly for cover. Wingers I think we're covered on and with the youngsters coming through think left/right back are covered too. Need an experienced centre half though, Vermalean from Arsenal maybe?

As good as our fit starting eleven is, our squad is too weak to compete with others around us for Champions League and with the players we've sold, there's no reason why we can't bring in two or three top class players..

I don't think we've got a big enough squad to 'get rid of players', but that saying that I hope we see as much action from Hibbert, Gueye and Alcaraz next season as we've seen this season.

As for players in, we need a CB who's as good as the ones we have at the moment to provide competition and/or cover. For me Lescott could be purchased on the cheap, and we know he's got PL quality and experience.

We also need numbers in the middle. If Barry stays then thats perfect, however if Barry and McCarthy are injured/suspended we don't have much over. I said it in the transfer thread but no one seemed to react, but Mark Noble from West Ham would be a great addition. He can certainly pass (this season averages 53.5 passes per game, 83.2% accurate) and tackle, and at a relegation price we could get a bargain. We could also do with another attacking threat, I'm not sure about this one though. I'm sure a foreigner could do a good job at a cheaper rate. I'll leave to Roberto.

Striker is obviously needed. I'm not sure how Kone will fair next season with a year off work. However with him and Vellios the only strikers on our books, we need to invest. I think 25 mil MAX is what we should be prepared to offer Lukaku, hopefully his recent form will lower his price. There's a lot of decent strikers abroad, and I'll leave that to Roberto to pick, but in the UK the only one that stands out is Dzeko.

Finally, wide men. Obviously we play our FB's as wingers these days to allow the 3 front guys to head towards the goal. McGeady looks impressed at the weekend, but if we can get another winger on loan, I think it's provide decent cover.

So whats that? About 30-40million? Seems reasonable. I can't see Martinez making too many signings in the summer as we have a very impressive squad as it is. He'll just replace Moyes's deadwood.

Definitely get rid of Gueye and probably Vellios and Junior as well. Deulofeu and Traore will go back to there respective clubs. I think we'll sign Barry on a permanent deal and we need to sign at least one striker hopefully Lukaku but the cost could make that impossible. I would keep Hibbert, Osman and Naismith as they can play when needed but don't rock the boat when not selected they just get on with it. If anything else we could do with another CM but if Gibson is fit the player would be 4th choice so they would have to be of the right character.

Out- gueye vellios
In- top striker second striker winger, centre back and a creative centre mid . this is if we make champions league so around 35 to 40 mill needs to be spent

we NEED strikers. Lukaku on a permanent deal and Filip Djordjevic from Nantes on a free transfer. Would be made up with that.
