He was but it was a freak accident, the guy was aiming to kick the ball and Oviedo got in with a tackle so the guy kicked his leg by mistake. Total accident and I feel for the Stevenage lad as I bet he feels terrible for it despite it being a total accident.

This. Just a really unfortunate incident.

Good point, Maybe just get him to collect the fa cup when we win it as a sign of our appreciation.

We need to hope Chelsea win Man City mate. Then we have a boss chance winning it. Chelsea could lose to the likes of Sunderland away (a team that will be up for it). City would just batter them

City is the only team in England that scares me. Honestly, they're incredible!

"Kevin Mirallas came over to calm me down but he was in tears. I knew then that something was seriously wrong."

He said: "Ever since it happened, I've been thinking about the World Cup. I have to remain calm but, in the hands of God, I will be ready for it.

"If I am back in time for the finals, then great. But, if not, then the world won't stop turning. I have already missed a tournament through injury before.

"You learn from experiences like this. You take knocks in life but the key is to be strong and to fight back.

Kev and Bryan are just ace.

More words from Bryan on the link.

Surgery was successful according to the OS with a rod inserted in the tibia.

It was a clean break with no bone fragments so quite an optimistic outlook.

Good luck Bryan!! (y)
