Whats the difference between a centre midfielder and a defensive midfielder when we play 4-2-3-1?

Maybe more of an attacking midfielder then. Think we need more other positions first than this one

We dont need anymore creative players IMO, we do need someone to play deep though. Say we play City in the FA Cup, we also have them in the League, that means Leon Osman plays in midfield against Fernandinho and Yaya Toure, yeah, no thanks.

Hes a lot better passer than mccarthy
