Reason Martinez came here is he knew he would be given time and control. Look at how many managers Villa have had and Woy wasn't given a chance at The ****e. He will hopefully be given a reasonable budget in the summer but it would be nice to bring some cover in at CM as we seem particularly short in this department!

Summer additions will dependent to a large degree on what we do this season, so retaining our league position is vital. Certainly if you're a targeted player the prospect of European football of any description is going to be a draw. That's why we have/had to consolidate in this window.

I think quite a number of fans are fed up with the happy clappers not just me.
At the end of the day we should have millions to spend and yet we have to wait for johnny h to go before we move for anyone.

Do you not think that these "happy clappers" are equally pissed off? Is it the fault of these people you are generalising and making assumptions about? The whole happy clapping incident rose from people a little fed up of people laying into Kenwright and the possibly over-zealous nature of those who opposed the board and they saw a chance to support the Chairman publicly. Not much more. And to be honest, it's not as though your side of the arguement is the silent majority is it?
