Thing is, people just want to see an expensive signing, irrespective of who it is, or whether he's any good. I'd rather sign no one and save money for the summer rather than spend money on some overpriced player who everyone faps about just because he is a new signing and has an exotic name. However, if Roberto does sign anyone for actual money, then I'll be confident he's decent.

Possibly, but we have brought Garbutt back off loan. Entirely possible that this has just opened up like, but doubt we'd have brought Garbutt back for a couple of games' cover if we were in for Robertson at the time.
