I'm sure nobody remembers that -- unless you asked for a vault I'm assuming that just evaporated into nothing. You could vault yourself if you want some kudos ... but there is also a possibility that nobody cares.

Apparently Everton have sent the word out to several agents that they're open to suggestions of central midfielders available for loan. That came from a pal who knows an agent, then I read a supposed ITK say something similar.

Strangely short-time and last-minute thinking if true (and I think there's at least some truth to it), considering it was highlighted as a area for improvement a month ago.

It seems like Kevin Reeves, the chief scout, is tasked with doing a lot of talking with various agents, being very specific about what the club is looking for - position, cost, even personality. I don't think that was the case until Martinez arrived, and it implies that there might be a few different names for each area the manager is looking at strengthening, as opposed to just one 'ideal fit'. Might mean there will be one or two more surprises between now and 11pm.
