Hi, folks.

I'm back again for the second edition. If you could fill out the questionnaire beneath it would be appreciated. The finished article link shall be provided later on in the week.

1) What are your opinions on Everton's season so far? Its been a very good season so far, I honestly thought the things Moyes had drilled into the team such as our stubbornness and keeping these tight would be lost under Martinez but he has done well to keep that and implement a more attractive brand of football.

2) What are your opinions on WBA's season so far? Just as I would have predicted, it become apparent last year that Clarke was struggling and the good work Hodgson had done previoulsy was starting to wear off

3) Roberto Martinez seems to be doing the business. What have you made of his tenure at Goodison so far? since he walked through the door he hasnt said or put a foot wrong. I'm a 42 year old straight man and I love him!

4) WBA recently sacked Steve Clarke and appointed Pepe Mel. What are thoughts on Clarke's sacking and eventual replacement? Its seems a very risky appointment, I didnt disagree with the sacking off Clarke but I think its no time to take a risk. However I said that when Southampton sacked Neil Adkins and look at them now!

5) Romelu Lukaku won many hearts at The Hawthorns. How has he performed for you? I'm currently worried about Lukaku, the last three games I've been to ( Fulham, Southampton and Norwich) he has been very lethargic, bordering on the bone idle. However, he still has the presence to make you believe something is about to happen.

6) The transfer window is open, is there anywhere that strengthening? Another striker, Not that arsed about Jelavic potentially leaving but even before then with my above comment in mind I think we need to take the burden off Lukaku and bring in a front man.

7) What side is RM likely to choose?
(If all fit) Howard, Coleman, Jags, Distin, Baines, Mirallas, McCarthy, Barry, Pienaar, Barkley, Lukaku

8) Who are the three clubs that will be relegated? Fulham, Cardiff and Norwich

9) What are your strengths and weaknesses? We want the ball, we can defend, we can score. Weaknesses are we could have 100 corners and not look like scoring from them.

10) Score predictions
1-2
Hope those that are travelling have a safe journey to the West Midlands and I look forward to hearing the amazing "Allez Allez Oh" chant. :D

Liam, be interesting to see your answers to the questions based on your opinions and what you have seen of us so far this season???

No worries.

Q1. Been a terrific season for Everton so far. From what I've seen you've played some very good football and really 'upset' the applecart of the usual top four. I remember reading this forum after we featured in August and Martinez was receiving plenty of criticism. It's good to see that he's got his methods across which is now reaping success.

Q2. An absolute mess. We're missing a goal scorer which is why we're as low as we are. There are games where we've comfortably been better than the opposition but without the natural goalscorer we haven't been able to put games away. Furthermore, we've had some chronic luck go against us in terms of refereeing decisions with dodgy decisions against Southampton, Chelsea, Stoke, Arsenal and Fulham which could possibly have seen us better off in terms of our league position. That being said, no need to make excuses, we haven't been good enough.

Q3. Seems to have laid down his marker - you're much easier on the eye and have retained the solidity of Moyes' side.

Q4. Perhaps the right decision. Our 2013 form left a lot to be desired. 7 wins from 34, 31 points from a possible 102, performances getting the worse and snipes at the board in the summer - he was only heading in one direction. Gradually, as he couldn't stop the rot, he got caught up in the fascination of not losing matches and therefore we gave up on any attempt to win matches and subsequently lost more games. What I will say is that I think some of our players were incredibly and helped get him sacked. Clarke ultimately got the fired on the back of their poor finishing and sloppy defending.

As for Mel, he comes with a good pedigree, able to work on a budget with the intentions of attacking football. That will please every Albion fan there is. Our time under Clarke from November onwards saw some stale football. A return to possession orientated football will please the supporters.

Q5. Don't know much about Lukaku at Everton this season so I'll swap it to Anichebe. He has been a very expensive sick note who has spent a lot of his time rolling about on the floor which is ridiculous for a bloke of his size. That being said, he lead the line very well against Man United but that is his only meaningful contribution so far. Fancy a swap?

Q6. For Albion, we are in urgent need of a goalscorer, something at the moment we're lacking. Left back is also becoming a problem with neither Ridgewell or Popov being good enough seen as both seem to have declined rather than improved.

I think Everton have a very balanced squad - maybe supplementing the under belly of the squad will help you cover for injuries/suspensions.

Q7. I can't speak for Mel. We've seen nothing from him yet.

Q8. Fulham, Norwich and Cardiff.

Q9. Struggling for strengths at the moment. Weaknesses are keeping the ball and finishing the chances. We're highly susceptible down the left hand side and I expect Martinez to notice this and target Liam Ridgewell.

Q10. WBA 0 Everton 2

Good response that Liam. Balanced and informed. Always had a soft spot for your lot going back to Big Ron and the sides he sent out back then.

The feeling is mutual, mate.

If Mel can get us to resemble Big Ron's side then we'll be absolutely delighted.

We won't win the league, won't challenge for Europa, don't give a toss about the cups, the club needed to do something to get people coming in through the gates - opting for a head coach with expansive footballing principles is there way of doing that.

Liam, was it you who was after thoughts about Anichebe when he signed for WBA??

Because I think the majority of people on here said exactly whats been highlighted above about him. At least you know we give you an honest input on players haha

Any chance of paying on the gate on Monday? Home stands obviously. Might be in the area with work, and just wondered.
