I think the only difference between the best two fullbacks in the league are experiences of big games.

I love Coleman, always have. I was happy to let him make mistakes last year and develop as a fullback rather than stick him in midfield because it was the only way he would learn. I think it took him 2 months for us to all take a step back and just say WOW just to how much he progressed. Fast forward a season and he is even adding scoring to his repitoire, he is a year away from being the next big playe rin the league (after Bale).

However i think Zalbaletta edges it for me at the minute because he is so consistent. Watching the highlights of the City Fulham game a few weeks ago and they highlighted just how much he does in a game. At one point he has got forward to attack, then sprinted full force down the pitch again to get back into position. He is a player who is a decent defender and can play with that workrate for 90 minutes, so he gets my vote.

However after Baines has long gone Coleman will be a fantastic player. If we were to sell him in the next 18 months, for a 60 grand player he will go for close to 20 million by then.

Agree to the current form Coleman but in general Baines shouts. But I don't think Coleman's good form is just a matter of form he is going to be up there with Baines. He is ferocious in attack and he will only get better I think. What he has been producing this season is not a matter of confidence or other attributes to good form it's sheer quality he has.

I just had a horrible thought that we still had pistone LB...how times have changed! Baines for me, then Coleman. Two Everton players! And not many non blues would argue with that

United fans will fight till the death over Rafael, City fans for Zabaleta (though they've got a strong point) however Coleman is simply the best, the lad has everything.

love our full backs but Zabaletta is a step above as he is the most consistent in every part of his game...also despite Baines assist stats I think Zabaletta is the best for delivery in the Prem League. I sometimes think our full backs just get a cross in whereas Zabaletta always has his head up and looks for the runners. We are pretty woeful in general at crossing. Seamus is getting better and is very clever with his cut backs from the byline...the most pleasing thing is watching him for the last year and you can see him grow and learn game by game.
