From the January window how do Liverpool progress? You use that window if you're a top club to get a scorer in. They have Suarez already...how do they top that?

Chelsea, Arsenal on the other hand are going to profit immensely by buying quality finishers.

They compressed space and made it difficult to get in behind...the result of the extra man and sitting on the penalty lead.

Agree with that top bit - I would hope so on the second part, but help me out - i don't think we lost lost purely cos Howard was sent off. A lack of putting the ball in the net done us today, a final ball was TERRIBLE. Out of all the frustrating shouts i saw on here today, that one was the one i noted most.

Maybe a CL team just dumped out the tournament. I cant think of an individual, but anything has to be an upgrade on Eto. That said, maybe Podolski back gives Arsenal a way out of buying.

Point being though that those two teams have pretty much got scope to add goals.

Define top? you mean the top 4 clubs in this country? i doubt any of them want to move, as mentioned loads of potential bonuses on offer for final league placings, and moving to another club will forfeit them.

I think we'll buy from abroad. We are utterly desperate for a striker.

We gave ourselves a mountain to climb. Osman starting was the first domino falling as far as I'm concerned.

It's a good job we can score whoppers at the moment. Also, why was Osman picked? just simply to rotate? i know Ross was a yellow like.

I mean big name players

Can't think of many that swap clubs in the middle of a season
