Anyway, most of the people at Wigan knew Spanish, so he probably didn't need to learn it that much...

English is actually one of the hardest languages to pick up if you're not a native speaker. It was probably easier for you if you learn it growing up, as younger people pick up languages a lot more quickly. Asking somebody aged 28 to pick it up is a big task though.

Norwegian must be the easiest language to learn in the world. I learned it already when i was just a few years old
