We clearly have a problem. The problem is that Liverpool have one of the world's best players in their team challenging our right to top 4.
There can be no doubt that Suarez is world-class...perhaps the best player Liverpool have ever had during the 25 years I've been watching football.
Doesn't change the fact that he's a proper **** (i actually just put stars in there, plenty of 4-letter words fit him to a tee). And him playing for the red side just makes him even more of a ****.
Still, if we are to be objective about it, on current form he's right up there in that class of 10 or 20 world's best players just below the top 2 of Messi & C.Ronaldo. So we're talking on a level with Ibra, Lahm, Agüero, Bale, Iniesta, Poborsky, Kompany and a few more.
It hurts to admit it, I know...but what can you do? Makes us look good as we're one of the few teams who handled him relatively well (that freekick excepted).
Personally, as an Everton man and football fan, I'd like him to be sold to play for crazy money for someone like Paris St Germain, reform his character and help them challenge the other established clubs for the Champions League, while Liverpool blow the transfer money on shyte (as they almost always do, Torres & Suarez excepted).
That would be the best solution to this problem.
But I'd accept him getting crocked for a year, or banned for life for biting the ear of a defender.

dire decision...he's got one year left at the top...we'd be daft to blow our one big windfall on that. The Premiership's probably too fast for him now anyway, no time to get his fancy karate kicks going.

I agree with you, mate...have posted very similar views to your one here a few times.
Still get sucked in now and then, tho'...some blues are just obsessed with the red side (while professing they're not...just like how our song wastes two lines on them while claiming "we don't care").
Works both ways, to be fair...the red team have a forum which is oft-quoted here, and their Everton thread is just as big. Many families have blues and reds (mine does, and we're proper wools).
