i dont know much but i know he is a schmuck. and it does not matter how dapper your shoes are and good you smell because you remain a schmuck.
....the blokes a top player, no doubt, but he'll have to do what Ronaldo did to prove he's truly top of the world class. He's 2nd division until he goes to one of the worlds top clubs and proves it when he's not just a big fish in a small pond.

He is a great footballer. He's not the best in the world, but he is a world class striker. He's also a world class snide.
If we can admit how good he is, then Libbapewl fans should be able to admit how ridiculous it is that Brenda gave an absolute cretin of a human being like him the armband. Being captain should be about more than just be the best footballer in your team. Especially at a place like LFC where they love to lecture people about the "The Liverpool Way" and how "special" their club is.
Steve Nichol was on US tv yesterday and was absolutely fuming about this. He can barely tolerate him in the shirt let along with the armband on.

I disagree we probably need to get off our high-horses a bit. Giving him the armband seems to be paying off, it's probably the last one he wore since he was in the Hitler youth but it seems to be working.
Think we should judge him on his football at the moment, when you listen to Led Zep do you think about how Robert Page was dating a 14 year old? Or when you watch a Roman Polanski film?
