Cool story time:

Went to a show of theirs once in Chicago. Somebody threw a crappy Harlequin romance novel up on stage. Josh Homme flipped it open to a random page and started reading aloud. It was enthralling.

Beat me to it.. Kyuss are fantastic. Can only tolerate the first three QOTSA albums, haven't really delved into their later material.

Funny, their last 3 albums are my favorite. ...Like Clockwork is a bit different, it's almost more of a Them Crooked Vultures sounding album. It has a much more prevalent blues influence.

Totally worth checking out. Not their best album, but that statement says more above their previous works being awesome than it does about ...Like Clockwork. They're just one of the best still-active rock bands around, it's hard to top such monumental works.
