Basically. You know at the end when Pitt finds his birds head in the box. And then he kills Spacey.

Well my dad reckons he shouldn't have killed him because it meant he won.

I think it doesn't work like that. You've just found your pregnant birds head in a box and you have a gun. I know what I'd do.
