Boxing

Some good Boxing chat ;)

Thought Brook was impressive last night, very patient, moved well, however I still fear for his chances of beating any of the other's in the Welterweight 'Top 10', even Malignaggi and Maidana. I just don't think his defence is as good as his rivals at the moment.

Hearing that Kiko Martinez will not face Frampton until at least September/October next year if he retains his title against Mathebula, opting for a voluntary defence in June before taking on the Mandatory.

I'd like to see Carl take on Leo Santa Cruz, would be a 'Fight of the Year' contender with two good attacking boxers. Failing that, Terrazas of Vasquez Jr would be good steps up the rankings.

I'd take Brook to do Malinaggi TBH.

Frampton vs Quigg Predictions if it does happen?

I actually think fighting Quigg would be a step in the wrong direction for Carl, think there's a big gulf in class between the two and Frampton should be walking a pathway that will in 1/2 years lead to him taking on the Rigondeux/Donaire/Darchinyan.

If it does happen though - Frampton inside 5 rounds.

agree with outcome, couldnt see quigg winning, but also couldnt see frampton doing much with donaire, and rigondeux would box his head off right now, needs a few more fights before he looks at them two
