That would explain why Messi & Ronaldo score so many to be fair. Excellent point. Boss footy knowledge.

Its also the reason rooney started scoring more headers mate, when he was bald he was easily identifiable and thus more easily marked, the hair was a purely footballing reason to make him harder to mark :D

Ah, but you could argue that his bald nut was easier for the winger to pick out with the cross.

Is this why goalies wear bright gloves, so the ball can see them?

spot on mate, you ever remember that romanian keeper who got new hair and suddenly started getting crosses all the time, cos the ball couldnt see him thus he was able to get it out the air better, he was clueless when bald ;o
 

This explains Steven Naismith to be honest. His little blonde spikes created a greater wind resistance so the opposition could almost feel him moving around them. Now he's streamlined.

It does make sense mate. It really does. It also explains Tim Howards slightly eccentric beard.......
