...the penalty was a disgrace but not a game clincher so I have shelved it. Monied teams will always get those penalties just like Wall St Banks get taxpayer dollars if they **** up

Ah well, before I log out, thoughts on the game - we were outclassed away from home by a side who was assembled at at least 10x the cost of ours, who badly needed a result after a few disappointed results.

There's no need to meltdown with this. Yes, we were poor individually with Barkley and Osman having poor games particularly, but McCarthy was fantastic and we were missing Barry sorely. There was still enough there to say we'll roll over a few decent teams today.

The way some people are making it, we just got blitzed by Barcelona.

1st half was pretty even, 2nd half they were better. But how many saves did Howard have to make really?

Don't mind losing, but some bells like Waddle etc need to reign in how we got taught a footballing lesson

this is really true. Too many players not turning up. against lower teams(no offense to them) you can afford one or two players having a bad day. Against a team that cost in the neighborhood of half a BILLION dollars, you need every single player on point.

Glad you agree.

Another way of making my point is that Bayern beat City with their whole 11 playing well. That 11 included Robben, Schwiensteiger and Ribery playing at their best. We had to try and do it with Osman, Naismith and Mirallas playing like they forgot what their job was.

I f**king hate Waddle. Worst commentator around

would have been a different game had we not conceded 2 seconds after we scored

its like having sex at night and turning the lights on to find out you were bumming a man.

We were badly outplayed in midfield. But then again they have a rich man's Fellaini in toure and some smashing players like silva. Also Barkley and lukaku didn't hold the ball up well. Naismith gives good effort but he's not going to take us up a level. Need to think about gambling on deulofeu's talent and playing him more often.
