One of the best signings in Prem era, all Moyes strengths and weaknesses rolled into one, unearthing a gem for peanuts, then refusing to play him over Hibbert or Neville

Everton got Coleman from a tip off from Willie McStay who was trying to get him to Celtic but they rejected him. Moye took a decision to take him, yes, but he stunted his development leaving him out, and playing him out of position. He's lost about 18 months of his career because of Moyes ridiculous failure to blood players ready to go.
