iOS 7

I dunno, maybe you should go and email all the websites with headlines about apples servers dying and let them know they are idiots for not understand the finer details of why lots of people are having issues.

I don't go on other websites, I go on this one. I am sure, that Apple are perfectly happy with their setup. And please remember, downloading iOS 7 isn't a god given right, they are in this to make money remember. You don't *have* to download iOS7, your phone/tablet will operate quite happily on whatever you are currently using.

Plus, it would be prudent to wait a week or so, as all the beta testing will still never prepare you for testing in the field en mass

This.

Really don't fancy my phone going doolally on me, so I'll give it a couple of weeks before taking the plunge.

The build is stable, I've been using it since last Tuesday I think. Just give it until Sunday and you should find the server load has cleared. You'll have tens of millions of people trying to update today and through Saturday, I'd suspect that the iPhone 5c and 5s activations will also go over the same data links. You should be fine after the initial rush.

I am all for that, but only when it is deserved. And in this case, Apple shouldn't be wearing the flack they are getting.

I must admit that I haven't bothered looking into what the new OS offers (since I won't be using it). I think we can all agree to lol at apple for the latest Itunes though.
