I should point out though that even though I like Doyle, I wouldn't agree with spending a lot on him

It's a gamble and by rights we should get him on the cheap and he should then work hard to get an improved deal next year. I'd be happy if he came in on the cheap, got 5-10 goals and then got an extra few quid on his deal during the summer

His Ireland chances are non-existant as long as he keeps playing at Wolves, he needs a move
