Good Lord man, you don't even understand what I've written on here.

£35m is more realistic for Felli than £85m is for Bale;

£25m is not enough for us to buy four decent players BECAUSE ITS DEADLINE DAY.

We therefore should not sell UNLESS we get offerred £35m, be that a "realistic price" or not.

You on the other hand seem to want us to bend over for Moyes and say thank you for a few pennies afterwards.

Only one of those is actually realistic. (It's the one which has happened)

It was YOU that initially chucked in an irrelevant name in Ozil - a totally different type of player, who's on £200k per week btw, as the initial comparison - so I'd take your own advice there "minge".

Ozil is not an irrelevant name at all. Fellaini has been the fallback for Moyes after he's failed to get in other players like Fabregas, and they've been linked with Ozil several times this window.

35m for Felli?

Seems legit.

Brunnuns right, they wont pay 35m, we need the money, despite what Spanish Bob said, you can only sell for the price somebody is willing to buy.

Ozil & Fellaini are like chalk & cheese, so he wouldn't be chasing one over the other. Same with Fabregas, I'm certain he'd earmarked him as a replacement for Rooney personally.

Love the way you've gone with the alternative use of "realistic" halfway through the debate. Earlier you agreed that Spurs raped Real on the fee, now it's "realistic" on the sole basis that Real were silly enough to do it.

And you went quiet on United's buying history too :D You're not winning this one mate.

BREAKING NEWS.

Felliani, Baines and Barkley sold to United, Kenwright asked for a cash deal, Everton re-sign Yakubu.

He earned it, he made boss signings and won games.

If Bobby does the same he can have my love, spending 14m on McCarthy is not a good bit of business, the lad has some desgree of talent, but hes overpriced, move on, Global market I recall hearing.

So you've watched McCarthy extensively and took a DeLorean five years into the future to assess how he'll do for us?

Does McCarthy not play for a team on the globe? Or you spurning a crap phrase to use to beat him with a stick because you have some misplaced perception of him being a sh*te manager for us?

McCarthy is a quality player and one I would personally love us to sign. This kid was talked about as a potential top 4 player last year by loads of respected pundits. For me would be a great signing it's just the fee I have an issue with but the British market is what it is.

I never agreed that Spurs 'raped' Real on the fee at all.

If you think that getting £35m for a player who is not in demand and who didn't attract interest with a release clause of £23m is 'more realistic' than getting £85m for a player who has just been sold.... for £85m, then good for you.

United's buying history shows they've bought a grand total of four players for more than £25m in the past thirteen years.
