With that rejected I think we have to put our foot down and not sell Fellaini, as anything north of 10 million for McCarthy is daylight robbery - and I actually rate the lad.

I like McCarthy, but I wouldn't pay over £10 mil for him - and even that's a push!

There's better options out there that could do a similar job:
Radja Nainggolan would be perfect as a box-to-box player, would fit the system as well as McCarthy would, and Miralem Pjanic or Holtby would be perfect to play anywhere in the 3 behind the striker.

We also need another striker. Ba or Yilmaz would be perfect. I'm just worried Martinez will pay over the odds for McCarthy.

It's easy to play Footy Manager tho. I'm not happy to see Felli go, but if rather him than Baines if one has to leave.
