Nebbiolo

Valuation: £108 million
Taken from the NOTW. I don't know anything about him and expect this is another made-up rumour. But here it is anyway:

GIFT: Moyes wants Santa in his stocking

EVERTON are poised to make a £6million bid for Napoli defender Fabiano Santacroce.

The 22-year-old has earned Serie A rave reviews alongside skipper Paolo Cannavaro.
But Goodison manager David Moyes faces stiff competition from AC Milan and Barcelona.

haha:lol:

The new Alessandro Nesta it reads on Wikipedia. So looks like he's quite highly rated by Napoli. Get him in, beating of competition like Barcelona and Milan shouldn't be a problem.

Will be quite a busy transferwindow for Moyes by the looks of it. A new defensive midfielder, a winger, Vagner Love and the new Nesta. Very exciting stuff I have to say.:dodgy:

My tuppenceworth: we should put a £5M bid in for Steve Sidwell who isn't getting his game for Villa and must be wondering why he went there. He was brought in as insurance by O'Neill if Barry went to Liverpool. That didn't work out and he's cast adrift at Villa Park making the odd sub appearance. We desperately need presence in the middle and Sidwell can supply it.

Not bad for £5m, if indeed Villa would let the lad leave. It could also be that Barry goes in the January window, in which case MON wouldn't entertain letting Sidwell leave. But I agree to the principle of bring him in.

So the papers are at it again. Dont believe anything you read in any of them. Believe what you see coming into the club nothing else.

That wouldn't surprise me. I'm puzzled at how sparingly O'Neill has used Sidwell, though. If he isn't there to take over from Barry in January I'd be surprised to see a player of his quality wanting to stay at Villa. They are a good team, but not CL quality where a player would be prepared to sit it out. He's 25 now Sidwell. I think he'd be ideal for us and playing week in, week out for a club like Everton would ignite his own career at the same time.

I bought this feller on Footy Manager on a sly..........Thats about it really hahahaha.

The only player were getting in January is Stephen Hunt and maybe Baines is going out the door. Thats about it.

I think Moyes may be looking at wide players having missed out on Obinna. We need better service to the Yak.

He must be quite a good player. Napoli are doing very well in Serie A this season arent they? They playing against AC tonight, maybe I'll give this boy a look.
