Exciting match! I thought we bossed Juventus but they've got a really clinic forward line so this match is far from over.

Very impressed by Stones, unlucky not to score. Great to see Bainaar at full throttle again! So which Juventus wag did Mirallas and Vic sleep with? They're getting fouled like crazy granted I think Mirallas has had a bad overall game.

To be fair, I wouldn't hate on anyone who doesn't want to stay up all night when they've got work the next day. You take rep too seriously.

Decent 1st half from the lads. A passing game and just one great chance from both sides.
Stone hit the post. Often gets the ball from Howard to start the attackl. Some poor distribution, but one for the future.
Distin and Jagielka have been great at the back.
Gibson and Coleman have been quite.
Pienaar and Mirallas have work tirelessly but created few chances.
Big Vic has his battle with Juve defenders, they are cheaters !
Fellaini is solid defensively but lack some quality in the last third.
Baines and Howard have been solid.

Good start for Stones, might get a few games this season, Fellaini really does need to work on his passing. Mirallas is not in the game at all. Howard needs to be more calm and not hoof it to much.

Mirallas looks worse!

Our new type of football won't be best suited for Fellaini. One of those things we may have to accept. Passing is not his strong point, but he will still offer plenty with his winning the ball, breaking things up and general workrate.

What an admission for a supposedly £23m footballer! Unless he's also given the role to get forward he's not worth a place in the side.
