Weekend plans?

Scotland game, England game, N Ireland game, all from the sanctuary of my local.

Then maybe out for a few more, then the Fiji Grand Prix, then the de-tox unit. Then a few for sunday dinner.


First time in months I have the whole weekend to myself and I intend to spend it with the people that love me. My locals licensee's.
 

my weekend has just been completely f*cked, supposed to be getting off this heap of sh*te by chopper today, just been cancelled due to bad weather despite the fact that its 28 degrees outside, sun is shining......[Poor language removed] brazilian helicopter pilots:@

I work permanent earlies. 1.30am friday, saturday, sunday & monday. I finish between 11 & 12 am. Its a drag but someone has to do it or there might not be anything in the supermarket. 4 stores in Birmingham today. 4 on 3 off for me. My weekend is tuesday wednesday & thursday. It has its up sides as the pubs are empty and I can get served without pushing my way to the bar.

I agree tho, i wasnt knocking Spongey, its a good show, its just that i have 3 children at different ages, 1 is 10 and she always wants to watch HSM2 which is on the V+ box, 1 is 8 and she always wants to watch weird random kids stuff and my son is 5 and he wants Sponge Bob and Peppa Pig. So most of the time i have to listen to them moaning about what THEY want to watch.

They ignore the Cable Box and the DVD player that they EACH have in their own bedrooms and always want to watch the TV downstairs, even if i want to watch Football, god help me if i want to watch Football, im the worst Dad ever then!!!

So im praying for nice weather, then i can take the leads off and let them run around a park getting tired.

You should give in to the youngest and tell the eldest two it's little sacrifices like this which will build their character. They won't know what the feck you're talking about, but Sponge Bob is better than HSM or Hannah Montana.
 

Just been to the Bury match, pretty good...terrible linesman...now after an hour car journey im back home watching England...then ill go to town later...all in all a good day...

I would of done except for one small problem.

I was under the impression it was just a regular house party but no, my mate forgot one hugely important detail.

We got there and almost ran Scooby Doo over in the car park, had to fight our way past Lara Croft and Darth Vader to get to the bar before sitting at a table with The Easter Bunny and Little Red Riding Hood.

We were the only people not in fancy dress and boy did we get some funny looks.

So we stayed for a bout an hour, ate loads of their free food and then escaped.
