Look whoever the manager is, I just hope we all support him and get behind him. We can all moan if the board take the cheap option and go internal.

we could be waiting for Lennon to finish the season off as he got a cup final. That would be a horrific appointment, Martinez and Vitor are now both 3/1, It seems we haven't approach either of the two.

I can't believe it, I went to bed last night (I live in a different timezone) expecting to wake up to "He's signed an extension, it's off, everything's off, I'm off". But it seems to be more ON than it was last night.

Vitor should come here. Someone (maybe that helpful Porto fan, a big thanks to him) said he doesn't 'capture the fans' hearts', but I think Everton fans are more interested in results than nice quotes. If he went to Liverpool he'd need to come up with an average of 37 soundbites per week to keep their fans stimulated and interested in football. At Everton, he just needs to get the team playing, behave himself, and he will be loved, no BS required. Anyone who helps Everton FC will be massively accepted by the fans, we don't need a manager who sings and dances, just wins football games.

...and for once...we'd have a manager who was more foreign than the manager at the RS.......

.....not sure I'm with the hype on this Vitor guy. I've looked at his CV and it looks a bit shallow. Yes he's had success at Porto but he was hardly a hit previously. I think he'd be a massive gamble and at the risk of being shouted at, I'm freminded of Mike Walker who came here on the back of single success at Norwich and was clueless.
I'm certainly not in the 'its on' camp, I'm more an 'oh dear, I hope not' candidate.

Not many on our list have good CV's. What would you conclude from Moyes CV? I would say he is as qualified as anyone else linked as of now. There was a piece on him (think the Daily Mirror, not sure) which looked very promising about how he sets up the team and style of play and how he continued the success despite losing most of his top players without a glitch in his methods. Interesting read and I will try to find it.
Obviously he is a gamble but out of the known candidates who isn't.

Found it
