Obviously this issue was going to be raised, and I have to agree that financially he has shat on Everton at the death from a great height.

Maybe he feels he has the right to do that, having given 11 years service and also having re-established Everton as a major side again and given them some credibility back.

But, I will understand people will have ill feeling towards him because of this.

I making a point to people who were 10000000000000% adament Moyes wouldnt do better than Everton Football Club, well he has.

If all this is true i would imagine Moyes and Everton have known for a while and if they have bids in for players regardless it may suggest promotion from within rather than a new manager coming in with players he doesn't particularly want.
Although i would prefer Moyes to stay my biggest worry would be Felli,Baines and i think he would try to take Jags too
