I for one do not want to see him sign a 5 year deal as I don't think his heart is still in it.He is too full of contradictions for me on one hand he whines about lack of funds and on the other tells the world that he could never work with a better chairman.

I don't think Martinez is a terrible manager, but I agree with Goat that he's not good enough to manage us, he fall's short in almost every way even with their 'nice' style of play.

I just want Wigan to go down so the option of Martinez coming here, if Moyes goes is less likely. However I do think he'll stay, always have done.

Like previously mentioned, Martinez has spent money, some people need to remember that. They're not that poor, and certainly their debts aren't as large as ours.
