Osman has been carrying Everton

Osman has been most improved player this season and has been a pivotal part of the push for Europe. As of late his performances have been average. But he's has played a major part in a lot the games.

Osman hasn't been carrying us, but thankfully Moyes didn't actual say that. He says he was "one of them" who was carrying us. I think on the balance of it Baines, Coleman and then perhaps Osman have been our better players this season.

saw this yesterday and thought it was odd. carrying a team in my mind is what van persie did last season and what bale and suarez are doing this. osman's been very good for us this season would be a better description.

i mean you can't say fellaini, baines, osman, jagielka, anichebe, coleman, distin and mirallas have carried us this season - doesn't make sence. different perceptions of what carried means probably

Nothing to see here...

Giving a boost to a player currently under performing. His performances prior first England cal up was the best of his Everton career IMO.

Love Ossie and think he's had a great season on his off days most of the team are collectively off and then he has to put a shift and a half in to make up for nevilles ineptitude. I think he has been one of the main players carrying the team with baines and Fellaini.

I'd like him to thank Ossie for his time at Everton but to say that we're moving on by playing Fellaini/Gibson/Barkley/Lunstram/a signing, in midfield. He can say that Neville's crap though if he wants.

Anyway, most people seem agreed that Moyes is lying to give the lad a boost, bit like his statements about Kenwright in return for £80K per week.

why do we only see the praise for his BFFs? When his young players are in need in of support, Moyes usually sticks the boot in.

Moyes' comments are a bit over the top - probably because he's talking about his mate - but it is nice to see Osman being picked for the national squad again. I doubt he'll make the World Cup squad if England manage to qualify, but he could still end up with a handful of caps before he retires.
