Why Doesn't Moyes Do That Every Time?

Now I'm pretty sick of bad performers constantly getting into the team. I'm talking people such as Johnny and Jelavic, who for most of this season have been woeful.

So I was delighted to see Neville and Jelavic, who have been the worst players in the past month getting dropped. So the question is, when a player has 2/3 bad games... why doesn't Moyes just drop them for a game onto the bench? Why does he have these favorite players??!

Seriously sick of Johnny (even Howard at some stages, Naismith - the list goes on) playing poor and still getting more and more games afterwards.

So what if we bring on a young replacement and he has a complete stinker - at least it shows that the boss will drop you, if you play ****e. No wonder players don't care anymore, they have no competition whatsoever.

I'm sure if there was someone better than Vellios or Mcaleney to come in when Anichebe is injured we wouldn't have seen as much of Jelavic. Same with Heitinga and Duffy.

We have no strength in depth at all.

No but starting Neville against Wigan was a massive blunder. Moyes greatest fault is that in high stakes matches he goes with the 'safe' picks which are just vets for their experience and are often much worse than the younger players left out.

Jelavic has ran his socks of all season. Whilst not scoring, he hasn't been woeful!

Heitinga is 3rd choice and has only had games due to injuries!

Yeah I agree with you there, that was a disgrace. I meant as in picking Heitinga now as Jags is out and only having players like Vellios and McAleny when Jelavic is out of form and Vic is injured.

True about jelavic he's not been woeful he just hasn't put the ball in the net as much as we would of liked but would you say he's had good service yeh he missed a few citters but the games I've been to this season when the ball should of been out through to him when his run is timed it dosent go to him am he gets it when he's trying to get back in position which is why he's offside alot

I've seen Jelavic pointing where he wants the ball played, on the shoulder of the last man umpteen times and the player with the ball overlooks him time and time again. Mainly Osman,Baines and Pienaar. I wonder why they don't like playing him in? Lack of pace? But yes mate he doesn't get the service at the right times. I really like him.

This is true, probably the biggest reason we need a creative attacking mid.

We also don't play down the middle enough for through balls.

haven't manchester city spent like a sqillion pounds and have loads of players and their players looked gash yesterday. youll never have a season where some of the team won't have a dip in form sometime.

We havnt got the creative mind of an attacking mid to play in that hole. Instead we use a target man. Fellainis pass to Jelavic yesterday was poor. He left Jelavic with a lot to do.

O yes we have, he's called Ross Barkley. Ossie can also play that role very well and he should have been there all season with Ross coming on for the last 30 mins every game. It would also mean that Fellani would play in his best position.
