Milan was a terrible move for the lad tbf, you only have to look at the ages of most of their players to see that. They don't give younger players a chance, certainly not foreign teenagers. Saying that, he would've been in the same situation here. Another talent unfilled because of hype going to his head. Shame

:hay:

starts for milan tonight against barcelona, chance to see what we missed out on

Game, Set and Match.

STARTS!!!!!! AGAINST BARCA!!

I wonder how many starts he would have had for us playing under Mr Negative? Same as Barkley - Guaranteed.

We could have Messi in our ranks and it would be the same 11 week in, week out.

Moyes is becoming a joke.

This is sarcastic... isn't it?

He looked gash last night, he's only a pup tbf, but I watched him thinking we'd not missed out on much there like.

He's been very good for a few months having been thrown into the deep end - for what we would have paid, we've certainly missed out.

Really? 11 league appearances & 0 goals this year according to wiki & a career total of 41 appearances & 5 goals so far. I know he's still very young, so maybe not fair to judge him, but on those stats & that performance, I can't say I'm weeping here.

He's been playing on the right wing, not as a striker, last night was only the second time he's played as a striker.

He's very raw, but has been very impressive for somebody so young, that's why he's starting ahead of Robinho and Bojan.

And there-in lies the problem of judging everything by stats.

He’s only 18 and has scored in the cup for Milan. He looks very promising for such a young player on a big stage. Even just looking at last night’s game, Naismith couldn’t have out-paced the defence to get the shot in, Everton would have had to hold the ball up and wait for Baines to get in to position.

what would Jelavic have done last night.............. nothing and he is years ahead of Niang
he is only a chap, we have young Barkley and phil Neville gets in the side before him tells you all you need to know.

I've had enough of this dithering Dave now. We would have had him had he not wanted him on a stupid trial and just signed him. You've sh*t on us Dave.

I know he's only 18 and he did hit the post but other than that he looked awful everything bounced off him his passes were astray and my gran could hold the ball up better.
